This owl is characterful and simple to fold.
As fitting for an owl, it stands with one wing admonitorily into the air.
The wing positions may of course be varied. Simon's original has the eyes locked inside at the bottom as several pictures illustrate. In the instructions I just leave the eye outside, a bit less "right", but somewhat easier.
I also added the flat base which provides more shape to the owl and enables the owl to stand. Finally, of course the other details may be varied, folding a bit more here or providing a real beak there. Play with it.
As I stood looking at this gathering, I suddenly got a desire to walk right :-)
